Will I Go to Heaven When I Die?
YOU have a choice to make. It's black and white. YOU either choose to follow Jesus, or YOU reject Him. God does not want to send anyone to hell. No, not one. He loves YOU and lets YOU make that choice.
Here's a sample of how to ask God to be a part of your life. “Dear God, thank you for sending Jesus to take my place and die for my sins. Forgive me of my sins. I receive Jesus now as my Lord and Savior. And because He has risen from the dead, I am a new person in Christ Jesus. Fill me with the Holy Spirit and make me the person You want me to be. I now call myself a believer and from this day forward I will live for Jesus.” Romans 10:9 says, “That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” The sample prayer helps you confess with your mouth but you must also believe in your heart to be saved. Ephesians 2:8 says, “For by grace you have been saved through faith,…” His part is: “Grace” (like getting something great that you didn't deserve) - Jesus died for us. Our part is: “Faith” (an inward confidence, assurance, trust, and reliance in God and all that He says). |
Praying for Healing
Believe His Word
It is the will and desire of God from the Old Testament through the New Testament to heal, spiritually and physically, His people. These are the people who believe in His Word regardless of what they see or feel in the natural. In the OT, God reveals Himself as “the Lord who heals you” (Exodus 15:26). David in Psalm 103:1-3, declared that not only does God forgives all iniquities (spiritual healing) but also heals all our diseases (physical healing). Then Isaiah prophesied in Isaiah 53:1-5 that the coming Messiah would “Surely bear our griefs (sickness) and carry away our sorrows (pains)…But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities…And by His stripes we are healed.” Isaiah was led by the Holy Spirit to see into the future and speak of the time of Jesus. In the NT, Jesus became the key figure to not only bring about spiritual healing (forgiveness of sins – salvation) but physical healing as well. He accomplished this before (Matthew 9:35) and after the cross (Isaiah 53:5). He has paid the price for us already - the stripes He received over 2000 years ago apply to us today. Now your job is to believe His Word and declare it in faith; for His Words “are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh.” (Proverbs 4:22) |
Receiving the Baptism of the Holy Spirit
It is God’s will for everyone who has genuinely received Jesus as their Lord and Savior to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:37-39 states that a person must be born again (“be saved”) to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit (or be filled with the Holy Spirit), verse 38 - “Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.””
1) Confess any sins to the Lord Jesus (1 John 1:9) and come into His presence with “clean hands and a pure heart.” (Psalm 24:3-5)
2) Meditate on Luke 11:9-13 and believe that, your heavenly Father will “give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”
3) Ask God to fill you with the Holy Spirit.
4) Then start praising God and thank Him for the Holy Spirit, His Spirit.
Thank Him for forgiveness, for love ones…
5) Allow the Holy Spirit to guide you (give you utterance) to
speaking your heavenly language. Do not be alarmed if you
are not familiar with it. Remember that, “He who speaks in
a tongue does not speak to men but to God,…in the spirit
he speaks mysteries.” (I Corinthians 14:2)
6) If you don’t speak in your heavenly language, that’s okay.
Continue to ask (Luke 11:9) and try again soon. There is
no pressure.
Question: Is speaking in tongues or having a spiritual language a requirement to get into heaven?
Answer: NO
Question: Are you any less or better than the next person if you can speak in tongues. No.
